ROCKET AND NAMBI EFFECT

Today, my blog is not a simple one. It is a tribute to an unknown hero of India who seeks justice for him. Almost 24 years later, finally, in the Supreme Court's 2018 judgement quashing all the allegations made against him, the SC also told the government to give 50 Lakh compensation to him and also said that those who are responsible for this case. A separate case was filed against them. Some of you may know the name of that guy. His name is Shri Nambi Narayanan.

He is born on 1941 in Kerala and passed Mechanical Engineering from Madras University. He hails from a middle-class family. After that, he goes to Princeton University for his PhD. At an early age, he deals with many problems, like his father leaving this world in his childhood days. All the responsibility of the family and also the marriage of two sisters come into the hands of Narayanan. He properly carried on all the duties for his family and also for his sisters. After being chosen as an ISRO scientist, there was a very low budget, due to which he gave it all to his family members. He describes that situation in his words in his autobiography that “I was an 18-year-old boy with a sick mother and two sisters to get married. There began a difficult life. I worked in different forms when other students took money from home. I sent some home. I always had a stressful life. One that was thrust upon me. When my father died, I continued with it till. This thing landed on me.”

                                 

Let's see how a genius scientist's life is ruined by a false case which was made by Kerela police in 1994. After that, the CBI and many more central agencies came into it. It was not a simple one-case. It was an espionage case (desh droh). The allegations made against him and his four colleagues, The story is that there were two women named Mariam Rasheeda and Fauziya Hussian who came to Kerela for admission of their children. They came from Maldivis. Kerela police registered a case against the two women for spying in India. The allegations were that Nambi Narayanan sold the drawings of the cryogenic engines to Pakistan. The two above accused took the name of Mr. Nambi Narayanan. On the basis of the above statement, Kerela police arrested Mr. Nambi Narayanan and his four colleagues. He proved that all the allegations were baseless and also all the agencies gave him clean chit in this case, but this legal battle proving himself innocent and a patriot towards india breaks him internally and very deeply so many times, like one day he decided for suicide but family members give him strength to fight back and to overcome with this situation. 

He has told this in his autobiography that, how the family member also he socially boycotted by the society because they thought that Mr Nambi Narayanan is a traitor and treat them as a terrorist. None of the rickshawwalas gave him to sit in his ricksaw. He and his family members did not have the benefit of even going to the temple. All the agencies found him innocent, but his 24 years wasted in fighting the legal battle. 

On 14th September 2018, the Supreme Court on Friday appointed a three member panel headed by its former judge to prove the. Harrowing arrest and alleged torture of former space scientist Nambi Narayanan. ISRO spy scandal? That turned out to be fake. A three Judge Bench led by Chief Justice Dipak Misra, also awarded Mr Narayanan of risk. 50 Lakh compensation for the mental clarity he suffered all these years. 

If we understand from his autobiography, he said that Central intelligence agency of America is responsible for this fake case. Because India had come very close to making cryogenic engines, at that time America and France were selling cryogenic engine technology at very high rates. At that time very few countries had this technology. Because of the very high price at that time, which was being offered by America and France. India has decided that we will get this technology from Russia. The dissolution of the USSR as we know it took place at the same time and Russia had emerged as its legal successor and Russia also had technology, so we thought of buying from Russia but America did not want that this technology should be with India, so he put pressure on Russia not to sell any technology to India and America succeeded in this, but Russia has always been our friendly country, so we and Russia signed a deal that we will get four cryogenic engines from them and we will make the technology in India itself. At that very moment this case appeared in front of all.

How politics and the system destroyed Nambi Narayanan's family also destroyed his success. His contribution, his devotion towards India, not only destroyed Nambi Narayanan but also destroyed ISRO's plan to make his own cryogenic engine. If we achieved this technology at that time, India would also be in the global competition market to send satellites of various companies in the early 20th century. We were also designated as a global sender of satellites and made money from it.
